Still Not Getting It + Q&A With Survivor's Network
In the summer of 2020 Brighton saw a sharp rise in sexual harassment reports. The country was in a national lockdown but this did not stop these harassers from assaulting and harassing their victims. Still Not Getting It is a documentary made by women exploring why harassment happens with chats with local experts and survivors of this behaviour. "This entirely female led piece of film making is an excellent and candid look at the endemic problem of sexual harassment, misconduct and abuse; essential viewing for all." (The Reviews Hub) Join award-winning theatre company Girl Code Theatre as they present their festival-nominated documentary "Still Not Getting It" at Femfest. The film explores the spike in sexual harassment in Brighton during lockdown. Girl Code aim to unpick what make's harassers behave like this through survivor and expert testimony. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Survivor's Network, discussing why this behaviour occurs and what tools we need to put an end to it.
