Brighton Fringe COVID-19 Audience Advice

Help us all to Fringe Safely – wear a face covering when you come in.
Let’s all stay safe together.

We've just released a short and helpful video guide to your safety at Sweet Venues.

Hi there, and welcome to Sweet! Thanks for booking with us and being part of our October season.

In these strange days, we're asking people to join the collective effort and to sport some ninja chic. You must wear a face covering when you come in and move around the venue (e.g. to / from your table, visiting the bathroom etc). When seated in our bar, please feel free to remove your covering. In our theatre spaces, it’s a mask on area, so please do keep it on at all times during the performance, unless you are exempt from doing so. We have an obligation to your safety, the safety of our team, and the safety of the performers here to entertain and thrill you. We think this makes good sense for everyone just now.

If you or those around you are feeling any symptoms of COVID 19, it’s no problem to cancel. Just drop us a line on info@sweetvenues.com and we’ll sort that out for you.

Please do arrive with enough time to allow for checking in with our team, to grab a drink, and to use our facilities. You being with us in good time means we can ensure that everyone is seated and the show goes up on time. Latecomers can’t be admitted due to our health and safety procedures, so please do arrive in good time. If you’re having any problems, do email us and we’ll sort it out. Please don't call us - we'd love to have the capacity to answer the phone, but we’ll be busy looking after our performers and guests, including you when you get here.

We’re really looking forward to having you with us.

Take care – JD and the Sweet Venues team

Some boring but important things to note for your visit

When you’re booking, please do book tickets for yourself and your household / support bubble. If you’ve friends who want to come to the same show, we appreciate that you might want to book the tickets all together, but it would be best if they book their own group’s seats. This way we can ensure everyone is seated safely and quickly, that our track and trace is easy and complete, and that you all have a great time at the show!
